Hanna Hartman is a Swedish sound artist and composer living in Berlin.
Since around 1990 she has composed works for radio, sound sculptures and
numerous performances all over Europe. More recently, she has started to
write pieces for instrumentalists. Her many awards and grants include Prix
Europa (1998), the Karl-Sczuka-Preis (2005), the Phonurgia Nova Prize
(2006), a Villa Aurora grant (2010) and Rosenberg Prize  (2011). During
2007 and 2008 she was Composer-in-Residence for Swedish Radio.

For Ohrengala she will play a *SOLO* with amplified objects and....

Els Vandeweyer is a Belgian vibraphonist & composer currently living in
Berlin. After studying classical percussion at the Royal Flemish
Conservatory in Antwerp and jazz at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and
Musikhogskule in Oslo, she traveled to Portugal, where she co-founded the
IMI Kollektief quintet (whose critically acclaimed debut album, “Snug as a
Gun”, was released on Clean Feed in 2006), as well as Chicago, where she
played with Ken Vandermark. Current projects include work with Ute
Wassermann, Georg Graewe, Fred van Hove/Paul Lovens/Martin Blume, Andromeda
Mega Express Orchestra...

For Ohrengala Els Vandeweyer will play a Solo piece of her new repertory of
compositions.

Kazue Taguchi and Annette Krebs will perform together a premiere for
Ohrengala. It will be a live performance installation for one speaker with
light/shadowstructures and objects moving slowly through the room.

Annette Krebs arbeitet im Bereich der elektroakustischen Musik an
Mischungen von Klängen und Geräuschen unter Einbeziehung von Sprachmaterial
und konkreten Bedeutungsebenen, die so aufgebaut sind, dass alle
beteiligten Parameter gleichberechtigt erscheinen. Collagiert treten
Sprachfragmente, Wortfetzen, Bruchstücke aus Außenaufnahmen in ihrer Musik
auf und mischen sich mit tonal und rhythmisch frei angeordneten Klängen,
Geräuschen und Stille.
Seit 2009 entwickelt sie Kompositionen für mehr als zwei unabhängig
voneinander, meist live bespielte Lautsprecher und thematisiert die Akustik
des Konzertraumes selbst als wichtiges musikalisches Parameter. Sie
arbeitet solistisch, im musikalischen und intermedialen Bereich in
verschiedenen Besetzungen und Ensembles und entwickelt Kompositionen für
Performer/innen und Lautsprecher.

Kazue Taguchi, born in Japan, lives and works in Berlin. In 1997 she
finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Oilpainting and Lithograph Print in
Japan. And in 2007 studied the Master of Fine Arts, Glass, at Virginia
Commonwealth University in Richmond.
"Kazue Taguchi's art and objects are a beautiful question in light and
shadow with which she works in an impressive way. Her objects could range
from massive to fragil metal and other material she decide to use for each
installation, giving new meanings and creating new abstract
light-situations of space magic and a own special world. We are looking
forward to be with her flying shadows"
