we are back! it's 2021, it's COLD, the ground is white, and we are in 
full winter mode here at the framework temporary HQ. the heater is 
pointed at our toes, we're typing with fingerless gloves on, and our 
glasses keep fogging up. but fear not! we are dedicated to bringing warm 
sounds to your ears throughout this new year!

sounds in this edition from both new discoveries (hayley suviste & lewis 
ashton) and old favorites (manja ristić & francisco meirino), along with 
sounds from the aporee maps from the US, austria, portugal, spain, and 
greece, and a framework introduction recorded for us by regular 
contributor barry cullen.

(note: i mistakenly announced on the air that this intro was by ben link 
collins, another regular contributor. my apologies for that - ben 
collins, barry cullen, you can see how i might have gotten confused in 
-17C. but i take responsibility for my mistake, and am flogging myself 
as i type.)

with a new year comes a new appeal for sounds! we are ready to receive 
your proposals for your very own edition of framework:afield, our series 
of guest-curated programs (see here:

framework introductions, a great way to begin contributing to the 
program and getting your work on the air (see here: 
https://frameworkradio.net/intros). so get in touch and send us your sounds!

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field 
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction 
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of 
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
