This episode brings together female phonographers born and working 
outside of Europe and North America. Many of these sound artists are 
also academics, educators, visual artists and podcasters. Their 
compositions shaped and molded, sometimes tenderly, here and there 
justly enraged, represent alternative orientations and perspectives.
