this is our last regular edition for 2017; we've got one more :afield 
edition, produced by john barber, coming up next week, and then we'll be 
on winter break until edition #624 premieres on january 14th.

framework:seasonal, #9, winter 2017. framework:seasonal is our ongoing 
series of fund-raising releases, featuring new and exclusive works by 
members of the field-recording community. it's quite tricky to convince 
people to financially support a radio show - after all, radio is free, 
isn't it? well, it's free to hear, but it's not free to make, and we 
absolutely rely on our listeners to be able to continue making the 
program. so we publish this series of handmade releases to give you 
something concrete to hold in your hands, a physical object that can be 
our THANK YOU for helping us keep the program afloat. so PLEASE consider

dissected slightly, extracted into movements, and mixed together with 
one another and with recent favorite sounds from the aporee soundmaps. 
we hope you enjoy this program, and when it's over we hope you'll want 
to hear jonáš, dinah, jean-philippe, and fintan's sounds again by
