[Ilya’s fingers were frozen and he had already lost circulation in his hand. First the tip of his index finger had gone numb with frozen blood flow - exposure to the cold wind freeze with frozen noise - white noise sound red blood circulation turning black. He was losing all sensation. First the extremities, fingers, toes, ears. His body closing down - dead function flesh mix. He raised his hand to touch the side of his face. He could feel his finger against his mouth - but he couldn’t feel his mouth against his finger. It was a dead loop - no feedback of sensation - end of blood signal flow. The texture of frozen flesh noise. There’s no feeling left - the dead sound of his body.]
