greetings from ose, in the setesdal valley of southern norway, where 
this show was recorded and mixed in the framework mobile studio (ie, my 
laptop and a sony pcm-m10). it's been an exciting week, featuring 
waterfalls, rainstorms, mountains and even a failed entrepreneurial 
endeavor selling (or rather, attempting to sell) new england corn 
chowder to norwegian market goers. observations? norwegians (at least in 
setesdal) seem to only eat things that are in waffle, or sometimes ball, 
form. so if you think your milk-based corn soup is really good and will 
go down a treat at the local food market, don't kid yourself. go mow 
some lawns instead.

but your probably more interested in the sounds: this week we feature an 
upcoming release by stéphane marin, aka espaces sonores, an extracted 
piece of which was featured on our most recent framework:seasonal, issue 
#7. we also heard excerpts from one of those rare occurrences these 
days, an actual physical release, yanick dauby's 'chǎng, factory' cd on 
his own kalerne imprint. also another echomusic release, this time by 
chris lynn, a self-released work by emanuele costantini, a new 
collection of sounds from the aporee soundmaps, and a framework 
introduction recorded for us in france by barry cullen.

again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field 
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction 
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of 
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material, 
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
