#446: 2013.12.08
listen to this edition here:
http://www.frameworkradio.net/2013/12/446-2013-12-08/
the first snows have fallen here in estonia, not too heavy yet, but
everything is white. we'll be missing the next few weeks of
accumulation, however, as we're off for 3 weeks in the states shortly;
we'll be mostly in new york city and the boston area, so if you're
around, give us a shout! we're closing in on the end of the 2013 season,
we'll have 2 more shows after this one and then take a little break,
before returning to new programming on january 12th. this week we heard
several free-to-download releases (james bailey, tmh, daniel kordík),
alongside a very nice cd release from the austrain moozak label by a new
name for us, and a great cassette release from the new(ish) masters
chemical society label by a very familiar name. all this began with a
framework introduction recorded by perhaps our youngest contributor -
well done rachel!
again, we are always looking for new material, whether raw field
recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated framework:afield series. send proposals or material,
released or not, on any format, to the address at the bottom of this
mail. if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
