quite a long list (not to mention some long titles, thanks to *mr. 
farmer*), but don't be fooled - this is not actually preferential 
treatment for *mr. dauby*, but is merely due to the fact that his 
release contains many short recordings. you may also think this is 
preferential treatment for my own good self, since the release in 
question was in some ways a three-way collaboration between *dauby*, 
*john grzinich*, and *me*, and this may be the case, but actually this 
week we are hearing only disc one of the two disc set, which is *dauby* 
solo. the disc consists of recordings he made during his time visiting 
us here in estonia, split between short recordings of birds (lind) and 
longer recordings of scrap and found metal (raud). we'll check out the 
second disc consisting of the aforementioned season-themed (aastaajad) 
collaborations, in the next edition.

and many brits in this edition - we also heard an unreleased collage of 
vancouver field recordings by *douglas benford*, and two releases from 
the relatively new *consumer waste* imprint, by *patrick farmer*, *jack 
harris* and *samuel rodgers*. this all began with a /*framework*/ 
introduction recorded for us by a new contributor, *erik illaste*, from 
right here in estonia. erik has also submitted some great compositional 
material, which we'll be checking out in an upcoming show.

and i can now announce that we are beginning production of our next 
edition of *framework:seasonal*! the *spring 2012* edition will be out, 
well, sometime in the spring, so prepare yourselves. in the meantime, if 
you haven't yet shown your support for /*framework radio*/ and picked up 
the *autumn 2011* edition, now may be your last chance! they will be 
unavailable (or at least more expensive, we're not sure which yet) once 
the new edition is out, so grab one while you can! and remember, if you
