Two legendary albums produced and conducted by *Jaap Blonk*.

*"Splinks"*, released in 1993 and recorded on February/March 1992. *
"BRAAXTAAL"* released also in 1993 and recorded on June 1991. Splinks has
been the main vehicle for my compositions in the field of modern jazz (in a
broad interpretation of course) from 1983 till 1999. BRAAXTAAL worked along
the lines of a rock band: rehearsals had the form of improvising with a
simple idea (musical line, rhythm, text) and working towards a more or less
defined form..."

*JD Zazie* is an italian sound artist and recordist based in Berlin. Coming
from a DJ and a radiophonic background, JD Zazie has explored over the years
different approaches of real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound.
In her work she redefines DJ and electroacoustic activities. As a solo
performer, in small groups or large ensembles she moves in an area which is
constantly stretching the borders of what is supposed to be DJ mixing, free
improvisation and composed music.

*In july 2010 we presented Enantio Dromia where the mexican drummer Darío
Bernal Villegas performs with Wade Matthews and Thanos Chrysakis. Once
again, we invited him to record.*

*"This first solo album was created with no specific idea, besides improvise
a series of pieces for solo drumset. It was played mostly just producing a
sound and see where it takes the music, like a pencil stroke in a drawing.
It’s played in that border between the traditional way of playing the
drumset and the experimental one, where the pulse is somewhere there, but
you can’t spot it precisely."*
