/*framework*/ - phonography / field recording; contextual and
decontextualized sound activity
presented by patrick mcginley
our latest regualr edition, beginning with some exquisite
rail-travelling snoring captured by austrian artist *barbara wilding*.
we weer also finally able to hear some of *christopher delaurenti*'s
between-symphony recordings (a first copy of the first edition of the cd
disappeared in the uk post some time ago), as well as sampling some
recent collaborative work by old favorite *toy.bizarre*, this time
working with *pierre redon*, and a new offering from italy's *matteo
uggeri* (aka *hue*) with *alessandro calbucci*. this all came together
with some great unreleased work by *scott sherk*; /*ice*/ is a
soundtrack to a sound and painting installation of the same name, and
/*trains*/ is... well, you can guess...
again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw
field recordings, field recording based composition, or introduction
submissions. we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of
our guest curated series. send proposals or material, released or not,
on any format, to the address below. if you have any questions, please
don't hesitate to get in touch!
