Pueblo Nuevo Netlabel se complace en presentar el disco "Psychoacoustic Evergreens", de Marginal Reset [Dinamarca-Alemania].

"La ambición de las piezas del grupo 'Marginal Reset', que abarcan un espectro tan variado y en muchos aspectos caótico hace pensar en aquella premonición que hizo el gran John Cage en los albores de la música: 'I believe that the use of noise to make music will continue and increase until we reach a music produced through the aid of electrical instruments that will make available for musical purposes any and all sounds that can be heard.'

La invención sonora de Lars Graugaard, Sven Hahne y Matthias Muche y su fluida utilización del azar al entrelazar los sonidos les sitúa en ese camino, logrando atmósferas fuertes, terrenales y llenos de suspense mágica. En 'Blue Dove' se tiene la sensación de estar en una habitación interior, de paredes de piedra de un pueblo pequeño del que no llega ningun rumor. Luego la música nos transporta a campo abierto. Primero se ve una selva: se oyen tambores iniciales que se convierten en grandes piedras oscuras que se entrechocan. En el suelo cubierto de ramajes secos surgen, de izquierda a derecha, pequeñas llamas cuyo tamaño va aumentando pero sin llegar a hacerse un gran fuego, como si les faltase aire, disminuye, se disemina y se extingue entre las piedras. El paisaje oscuro lo recorren veloces hilillos de mercurio que en algún momento tienden a convertirse en arroyo, pero que no llegan a hacerlo.

Al escuchar 'Black Moon' estamos también en el campo, pero primero sopla un viento encajonado que parece proceder de un desfiladero por el que el tráfico fluye en una carretera muy transitada por coches, camiones, autobuses. Se oye un motor que no arranca, el tráfico es pesado y se mezclan todos los ruidos. Pasa un coche de carreras veloz, un tren antiguo con locomotora de carbón, en la que crepitan las brasas. Frenazos. Al fondo, ruidos acompasados y premonitores. Con 'White Comedy' oimos voces sofocadas e ininteligibles, rugidos, vientos huracanados, sirenas de fábricas, algarabía de pájaros y de voces. Mezcla de temas que se amontonan o se entrelazan. Tambores, campanas. Los tambores modificados, con danza, se imponen."

Pueblo Nuevo Netlabel proudly presents "Psychoacoustic Evergreens", from Marginal Reset [Denmark-Germany].

"The strong passion and extremely varied character of the pieces by 'Marginal Reset'which at times borders on the chaotic, brings to mind the statement by the great John Cage: 'I believe that the use of noise to make music will continue and increase until we reach a music produced through the aid of electrical instruments that will make available for musical purposes any and all sounds that can be heard.'

The sonic invention of Lars Graugaard, Sven Hahne, and Matthias Muche, their virtuoso invitation of purposeful coincidence to intermingle samples, events, and rhythms into strong musical statements, and the ease with which they conjur very diverse atmospheres of strong, earthly and suggestive magic places them firmly in this tradition. 'Blue Dove' seems initially to be constrained to an intimate room in a small village, with its stone walls and impregnated silence. But soon we are transported into open fields. A forest: drumming turns into large, clashing rocks. The ground is covered with branches with small fires everywhere, in want of air. But they diminish, disperse, and extinguish between the heavy rocks, leaving the landscape marked by streams of hot mercury that attempt to cut out gullies and culverts.

Listening to 'Black Moon' we are likewise under open air, but a heavy wind is pushed through roadways with heavy traffic. Cars, trucks, buses, an engine attempting to start, congestion, all manner of sounds intermingle. A fast car passes suddenly by, an old train with its steam engine fed by smoldering coal. Heavy breaking, apprehension, a feeling of foreboding. 'White Comedy' brings us unintelligible voices and incomprehensible, hurried currents of air, then sirenes. Murmuring voices of birds and people in discourses that sway and manipulate. Then drums and bells - altereded, whirling, gyrating - take command".
