balancing act with controlled dynamics-take two: 

low dynamic range: 1 min/ sound to 1 1/2 min/ no sound
med. dynamic range: 1/2 min/ sound to 2 min/ no sound
high dynamic range: 1/4 min/ sound to 3 min/ no sound

players can switch dynamic ranges or stick to one as
they please, as long as they follow the sound/no sound
ratios.
