JEFF GBUREK

Jeff Gburek és un artista electroacústic els directes del qual es
fonamenten en la improvisació partint del so analògic d'una guitarra
modificada que va esculpint mitjançant tècniques de processament del
senyal.

Gburek ha col·laborat amb artistes de renom com Keith Rowe i Tetuzi
Akiyama. Juntament amb la ballarina i artista de teatre Ephia, ha
treballat en l'exploració del moviment corporal i el so dins del
projecte Djalma Primordial Science. També dirigeix Orphan Sound, el
seu propi segell discogràfic dedicat a la música electroacústica,
soroll, improvisació i a l'invent de nous instruments musicals.

PATO

Rubén Patiño (Pato) torna amb el seu directe gamberro carregat de
soroll, talls bruscos i deixalla digital. En les seves pròpies
paraules:  "computer music de pacotilla o laptortilla".

Aquest barceloní resident a Berlín està en fervent contacte amb
l'escena experimental de la capital alemanya amb actuacions en
solitari, col·laboracions i sessions de dj a festivals i locals com
Salon Bruit, Scherer 8, Festsaal Kreuzberg o Das Kleine Field
Recordings Festival.

fundamentan en la improvisación, partiendo del sonido analógico de una
guitarra modificada que esculpe mediante ténicas de procesado de
señal.

Gburek ha colaborado con artistas como Keith Rowe y Tetuzi Akiyama.
También ha trabajado en la exploración del movimiento corporal y el
sonido junto con la bailarina y artista de teatro Ephia en el proyecto
Djalma Primordial Science y dirige su propio sello discográfico
(Orphan Sound) dedicado a la música electroacústica, ruido,
improvisación y al invento de nuevos instrumentos musicales.

JEFF GBUREK

Jeff Gburek is an electro-acoustic artist currently living in
Berlin.  His life sets are based on improvisation where he uses
signal processing techniques to sculpt the sound of an extended guitar.

Gburek has worked in collaboration with artists such as Keith Rowe
and Tetuzi Akiyama. He has also worked with dance and theater artist Ephia
in Djalma Primordial Science evolving a praxis of body and sound
through performance. He also owns Orphan Sounds, a record label
focused on electro-acoustic music, noise, improvisation and the
invention of new musical instruments.

PATO

Rubén Patiño (Pato) visits us for the second time around this year
with an agressive live set loaded with
noise, sudden breaks and digital dirt. In his own words:  "two-bit
computer music or laptortilla ".

Born in Barcelona and living in Berlin, where Pato is in touch with the
experimental scene there, having performed on his own or through
collaborations and dj sessions in festivals and venues such as Salon
Bruit, Scherer 8, Festsaal Kreuzberg or Das Kleine Field Recordings
Festival.
