Hpynagoiga (XSN015) by Craque is now available on the Xynthetic
netlabel
From the label pages - "Craque's hpynagoiga is the aural
approximation of a waking dream state, where subconscious illogic
intersects with direct environmental stimuli. The EP presents a fusion
of glitchy IDM, disjointed atmospherics and insistent rhythms."
The photo/digital artwork of Kary Cooke-Davis and Josh Garrett's album
design combine in a visual accompaniment to the multilayered depths of
fleeting dreamspace the music portrays.

The release contains the artwork and six tracks of music constructed
from live improvisation, sampled objects, strung and struck
instruments, scavenged and scratched electronic sounds. Hi-res FLAC
versions are available for purchase, and mp3 versions are available
for free download at the direct link above.
Check out some of the other artists on the label too, there's some
great stuff that's been recently released by Zainetica, JGarrett, and
ChemicalX. The recent comp "Progress Report" is recommended!

In addition to the new stuff, two limited-release CDRs, done in early
2000 and available only through Tower Records, can now be purchased
through iTunes. Search for Craque!

Now up and running is also the sounding.com blog and netlabel, a
personal project where I've started to release small studio projects
and archival live recordings. It runs on TWiki, so there is a wiki
side where I also collect all kinds of music links.
happy listening! - matt
