INVITATION TO CONTRIBUTE
eContact! 9.4 -- Hearing (Loss) and Related Issues
The CEC wishes to extend an invitation to
contribute articles, commentaries, analyses, WIKI
page content (and more) to eContact! 9.4.
We intend to address the theme from a variety of
perspectives and therefore welcome contributions
from Audiologists, Acousticians,
Psychoacousticians and others, as well as from
musicians and music lovers (see below for
suggestions). Contributions do not necessarily
have to be directly related to electroacoustics,
but should have some relation to sound (art)
and/or musical practices.
In addition to new articles written specifically
for eContact! we are interested in publishing
articles that may have been written years ago,
but have since gone out of print, have not yet
been made available on the internet, or which
were published on now extinct websites. Any
previously-published articles will be fully
credited (the author is responsible for securing
any necessary permissions).
Articles in any language are welcome. For
languages other than English or French, the
author will provide an abstract in one or both of
these two languages.
The issue will be launched in late May,
contributions must be ready by mid-May at the
latest.
Contact jef chippewa <jef at econtact.ca> if you are interested in contributing.
eContact! 9.4 will also feature a number of WIKI
pages, to which anyone can contribute
information, experiences and recollections,
knowledge. Visit the WIKI directly to contribute
<http://cecpublic.pbwiki.com/EcontactHearing>.
