New Review: Skanu Mežs Festival -- Riga 8-9 Sept 2006

Berlin may have Club Transmediale. In Montreal, Mutek sometimes still 
makes an interesting festival--even if it's largely focused on a small 
slice of the Minimal Techno world. And Barcelona used to have an 
interesting festival called Sonar years ago, before it grew so large 
that it turned into a record industry trade-fair. But this fall, my 
innovative and experimental music highlights came from an up and coming 
festival in Riga called Skanu Mezs.
