framework - phonography/field recording; contextual and decontextualized sound activity

well - this was my first regular edition of framework since - let's see - since september!  it's been a long time, but from now i should be back again doing every other show.  take this as good news or bad - to each his own tastes.  that said we do have a very exciting array of new framework:afield proposals coming up in 2007, this first two playing catch-up on the 2006 series, broadcasting two editions that never aired due to technical mix-ups, by jonathan coleclough in the uk and emmanuel mieville in france.  jonathan comes up first, that's next week, for our first show of 2007...

this edition saw us diving into the pile that's been steadily growing since september, with new collaborative sounds from chris watson with bj nilsen, rlw with domenico sciajno, and fabio orsi with my cat is an alien, as well as some unreleased solo work from catherine clover, andre castro, jeph jerman, and an estonian artist i encountered at a performance in viljandi this past summer known as p0rt.  all of this led off by a framework intro recorded by km krebs...

again, we are always looking for material for the show, whether raw field recordings, field recording based composition or introduction submissions.  we are also now accepting proposals for full editions of our guest-curated series.  send proposals or material, released or not, on any format, to the address below.  if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
