Ether
The Ether project was born in Florence at the beginning of the new
millennium. In 2004 Ether starts a collaboration with Mousikelab that, after
a selfproduced album, several remixes and an ep on Persistancebit records,
gives birth to their debut album for the eclectic naepolitan label.
Ether music emerges from electric distortions that  bring to life the
whimsical inspiration of the arrangements and the elaborate song
composition.
The rhythmcal sincopated evolution of the sound ranges from microwave to
melodic sperimentalism giving explicit reference to label such as Warp and
Merck and to the  recent german minimalism.
Obscured breaks and ambient textures interlace with creative cut & paste
between hip hop and autechreian electronics.
