Fenomenal trabajo de free jazz improvisado a cargo de un trío formado por tres norteamericanos, el saxofonista Steve Baczkowski junto a Chris Corsano y Paul Flaherty, batería y saxo, dos músicos que han pasado los últimos años colaborando como dúo y junto a artistas de improvisación de la talla de Greg Kelley (de Nmperign), Thurston Moore y Jim O'Rourke (de Sonic Youth) y Tony Conrad, entre muchos otros. "The Dim Bulb" es una grabación en directo de la primera actuación del trío, el 31 de mayo de 2003, autopublicado por Paul Flaherty a través de Wet Paint, su propio sello
 
Splendid work of improvised free jazz by a trio formed by three North Americans, saxophonist Steve Baczkowski together with Chris Corsano and Paul Flaherty, drums and saxo, two musicians that passed the last years collaborating as a duet and next to artists of improvisation like Greg Kelley (of Nmperign), Thurston Moore and Jim O'Rourke (of Sonic Youth) and Tony Conrad, among many others. Después de sus trabajos en Warp y Schematic, "Cautella" ha sido editado por el sello canadiense Sublight, dedicado a publicar música electrónica principalmente compuesta con ordenadores
 
New sound lunge of the surrealist mutant monsters created by the North American artist Richard Devine, this time with the collaboration of Otto Von Schirach and Funkstörung in two of the tracks. Dúo de Barcelona formado por Roc Jiménez y Anna Ramos, dos mentes creativas que vienen trabajando juntas desde hace unos años a través del sello Alku y su página imbecil.net, y que componen juntos explorando en el ruido digital bajo estructuras de origen matemático, utilizando los pseudónimos Opopop y, como en este caso, Evol. Compuesto en 2001, este corte es una muestra de su nuevo trabajo, recientemente editado por el sello austríaco Mego: "Magia Potagia"
 
Duet from Barcelona formed by Roc Jiménez and Anna Ramos, two creative minds that have been working together for some years through the Alku imprint and their site imbecil.net. They compose pieces exploring into digital noise guided by mathematical structures, using the moniker Opopop and, like in this case, Evol. El japonés Akifumi Nakajima, que lleva trabajando desde principios de los 90 en el campo de la vanguardia, el ruido orgánico y la música industrial bajo el sobrenombre Aube, interesado en la manipulación de algunos aspectos de materiales y sonidos de la realidad, buscando la expresión de su personal concepto de la belleza. Este es su nuevo trabajo, para cuya confección se ha valido únicamente de cadenas mecánicas como objetos instrumentales: Chain [Re]Action
 
The Japanese artist Akifumi Nakajima, that has been working since the first 90s into avant-garde, organic noise and industrial music under the Aube moniker. Interested in manipulating some aspects of materials and sounds from the reality, he's searching different ways to express his personal concept of beauty. This is his new work for which he just used metallic chains as instrumental objects: Chain [Re]Action

Reciente grabación conjunta de varios músicos procedentes de dos formaciones clásicas de la improvisación libre desde finales de los años 60, un disco editado por Matchless Recordings desde el Reino Unido con el título "Apogee", protagonizado por Alvin Curran, Frederic Rzewski y Richard Teitelbaum de Musica Elettronica Viva (grupo fundado originalmente en Roma por los tres junto a Ivan y Patricia Coaquette, trabajando sobre improvisaciones experimentales de jazz y electrónica), y Eddie Prévost, Keith Rowe, y John Tilbury de AMM (formación minimalista de improvisación que nació en el Londres de los 60 bajo el auspicio de Prévost y Rowe junto a Cornelius Cardew, Lou Gare y Christopher Hobbs). Este primer cd se compone de varias piezas improvisadas por los 6 músicos en el estudio el año pasado. El pack incluye igualmente un segundo cd con las actuaciones por separado de ambas formaciones en el festival Freedom Of The City, celebrado el año pasado en Londres
 
Recent recording by several musicians coming from two classic formations of free improvisation from the final 60s, a work published by Matchless Recordings and played by Alvin Curran, Frederic Rzewski and Richard Teitelbaum of Musica Elettronica Viva (a group founded originally in Rome by them three with Ivan and Patricia Coaquette, working on experimental jazz and electronic improvisations), and Eddie Prévost, Keith Rowe, and John Tilbury of AMM (a minimalist improvisation formation that was born in the London of the first 60s under the auspice of Prévost and Rowe together with Cornelius Cardew, Lou Gare and Christopher Hobbs). This first cd contains several pieces from last year improvised by the 6 musicians in the studio. The pack includes a second cd with the separate performances from both formations in the Freedom Of The City festival, that took place last year in London

Michel Waisvisz, director del estudio de música electro-instrumental de Amsterdam (STEIM), es un artista que lleva trabajando también largo tiempo en el campo de la música experimental, en su caso desde finales de los 70, con un marcado énfasis por estudiar los detalles del sonido. "In Tune" es una recopilación de grabaciones realizadas en directo en el estudio entre 1977 y 2000, publicada por el sello alemán Sonig 
 
Michel Waisvisz, director of the Studio of Electro-Instrumental Music of Amsterdam (STEIM), is an artist that has been working also for a long time in the field of experimental music, in his case from the final 70s, with a marked emphasis in caring about the details of sound. "In Tune" is a compilation of recordings carried out live in the studio between 1977 and 2000. Released by the German label Sonig

Debut en largo para un artista de Versalles (Fra), con residencia en Brighton (UK). Se trata de Jean-Emmanuel Krieger, Baikonour, nombre tomado de la base de misiles soviética un día situada en este lugar de la actual República de Khazakstan. Un disco grabado y editado enteramente en un ordenador y publicado en el sello británico Melodic con el título "For The Lonely Hearts Of The Cosmos"
 
Long-lenght debut for an artist coming from Versailles and residing in Brighton (UK): Jean-Emmanuel Krieger, Baikonour, a name taken from the Soviet missile base once situated in this place of the present Republic of Khazakstan. An album recorded and edited entirely on a computer and published in the British label Melodic entitled "For The Lonely Hearts Of The Cosmos"
