Please join us for the third installment of the 2005 AC Improvised
Music Series. These performances feature improvised electroacoustic
music in a comfortable, intimate setting, designed to encourage active
listening.

6/19/05, 7pm:

_Ryan Weston: Mr. Weston's first appearance at AC. Performing with
tape loops and electronics.

_Aram Shelton: Shelton is a performer on saxophone, clarinet and
computer. He has been active in Chicago playing jazz and improvised
music since 1999 and has played with Ken Vandermark, Jeb Bishop, Josh
Abrams, Guillermo Gregorio, Matt Bauder, Steven Bernstein and Jeff
Parker. He performs frequently in the groups Grey Ghost, Dragons 1976
and Rapid Croche, and from time to time with Ken Vandermark's Crisis
Ensemble, the Chicago Improvisers Group, and the Scott Rosenberg Large
Ensemble.

_Rising Tones Cross: For those interested in sticking around after the
performance, we will be screening German filmmaker Ebba Jahns
documentary on the New York/European Improvisors. Much of it consists
of rare peformances from different groups including Charles Gayle,
Marilyn Crispell, William Parker, Don Cherry, Peter Kowald, Brotzmann,
many more. Its 2:16 long.

We will have occasional screenings of music related films after
performances, a few more a yet to come..

Since this is a private residence, you *must* RSVP to attend.
Show starts at 7pm.
Free, donations welcome.
